If tonight is bad

You do not have to be in crisis to call.

The people on the other end of these lines are trained, free, and will not judge you. Most callers are not actively suicidal — they are just having a week they cannot carry alone.

Legacies of Men is peer support, not treatment.

We are men helping men, working through a structured curriculum together. That is genuinely powerful and it is not a substitute for a clinician. Many men use both — and for a lot of them, a meeting is what finally made the doctor's appointment feel possible.
