The bottleneck is people, not money.
A city can be funded in an afternoon. Finding someone local who will actually turn up every week and hold a room together is the hard part — and it is the part that decides whether this works.
Where help is needed
Every one of these is a real gap right now.
You do not need credentials for most of them. Facilitators are trained, and the curriculum does a lot of the work.

Being straight with you
What is actually asked of you.
Volunteering here is not a newsletter subscription. It is also not a second job.
- A few hours a week, consistently — consistency matters more than volume here
- Willingness to be trained on the curriculum before facilitating anything
- Comfort with confidentiality as a hard rule, not a preference
- No requirement to have your own life perfectly sorted
One honest caveat
If you are in the middle of your own crisis, this is not the right moment to take on facilitating a room. Come to meetings first. Nobody will think less of you — most of the best facilitators started exactly there.
Say what you can do and where you are.
That is genuinely the whole application. A real person reads it.
